Liu Xue Dan Cong (Feng Huang Dan Cong) is a rare and refined member of the oolong family from the Phoenix Mountains (Fenghuangshan) in Guangdong province. It is made from the leaves of individual tea trees on mountain slopes, so every Dan Cong variety has its own character and unique aroma.
The terroir of the region and traditional processing give a bright aroma, a complex flavor and a lingering aftertaste. Liu Xue is especially prized for its refined combination of floral and fruity shades.
