Meng Song Bai Hao Yin Zhen (Chinese: 勐宋白毫银针, pinyin Měng sòng báiháo yín zhēn) is a white tea from the Mengsong mountains in Yunnan Province. The name translates as "silver needles with white down": the long, slender buds covered in delicate white fuzz really do resemble silver needles.
The tea bushes grow at an altitude of over 1,500 meters above sea level, and the buds are picked exclusively by hand. After picking, they undergo minimal processing, so they keep their natural flavor and aroma.
