Shu pu-erh Mini Tuo Cha is made of carefully selected pu-erh leaves pressed into small "nests". The brew is balanced, rich, sweet and soft, and many people find it tastier than loose shu pu-erh. It is a convenient format: one portion is one nest.
Quality pu-erh is traditionally pressed into cakes, nests (tuo cha) or discs (bing cha). Here a single nest weighs 4-5 grams, and 100 g holds roughly 18-20 pieces, depending on the batch. Fermentation was done by the wo dui method, which speeds up the maturing of the leaf.
