Gong Ting ("Imperial Pu-erh," 宫廷普洱) is one of the highest grades of shu pu-erh, made from tender buds and young leaves. It comes from Yunnan province, and this tea is from the 2016 harvest.
Over the years of storage the harshness of young shu has faded, and the flavor has become harmonious, velvety and multifaceted. Its softness makes the tea a good choice for both newcomers and experienced fans of aged shu.
