"Basket" is a shu pu-erh whose recipe was devised in 1992. The name comes from the tradition of keeping this tea in small woven baskets, preserving its authenticity. It is a rare, handmade Yunnan tea with long aging, whose flavor and aroma develop over time.
The large dark brown leaves with golden veins grow darker still with age, and the liquor is dark, almost opaque.
