Gong Ting Shu Pu-erh 2023 is a ripe pu-erh made from young leaves and buds, pressed into a cake weighing 200 grams. "Gong ting" (宫廷) means "palace" or "imperial": in pu-erh the term denotes the youngest leaves and small buds of the tea plant. It is a tea of good quality at a reasonable price.
The tea is grown on organic plantations and carefully processed: lighter little leaves are visible in it, a sign of well-controlled pile fermentation finished at the right moment. After production in 2023 the tea rested for a year, and it was pressed into a cake in April 2024.
