African honeybush, the "Honey Bush," is an herbal drink made from the leaves and stems of the Cyclopia shrub, which grows in South Africa. The name comes from the naturally sweet honey-and-floral aroma of the infusion.
Honeybush contains no caffeine and is similar to rooibos, but its flavor is lighter, more delicate, and noticeably sweeter. It is loved for its softness and warm golden color, as well as its versatility: the drink is good hot in the evening, with milk and honey, or cold with ice and fruit.
