The "Zheng Zong Zi Sha" Yixing clay teapot, 160 ml, is ware for gongfu brewing for one or two people. Yixing clay has long been valued by tea lovers for its ability to bring out the flavor of the infusion gently.
As shown in the photo, the teapot is low and squat, in a pleasant light brown-lilac shade with an even, matte, unpainted surface. The flat lid ends in a small round knob, the spout is short and the handle is a small loop. The lid is joined to the handle by a dark braided cord that keeps it from getting lost.
