The "Tian Ji" Yixing clay teapot holds 150 ml and is made for gongfu tea for one or two. Yixing clay has long been prized by tea lovers for its ability to bring out the flavor of the brew gently.
The teapot is a rich reddish-brown with a matte surface. The body is a truncated cylinder that widens toward the base, with a flat lid and a small knob, a short spout and a loop handle. A fine engraving of mountains and trees runs around the body and across the lid, alongside vertical lines of Chinese characters.
