"Nuomi Xiang" (糯米香叶子, nuòmǐ xiāng yèzi) is a 2015 sheng pu-erh from the Zhoushi brand, in which the tea material is blended in a set proportion with leaves and stems of the nuomi herb. It is the herb that gives the cake its unusual sticky-rice, spicy and herbal aroma, which makes this pu-erh easy to recognize.
The combination of sheng pu-erh and nuomi is a choice for those who like unconventional flavors: the tea is complex, spicy and woody, and interesting as it evolves from infusion to infusion. The cake weighs 357 g.
