The Gaiwan "Spring Breeze" is a small handmade gaiwan of Nixing clay with a capacity of 110 ml. Excellent workmanship and a pleasant feel make it beautiful not only to look at but also in the hand. It is well suited to brewing pu-erh, black tea (hong cha), oolong and hei cha.
The photo shows a dark matte gaiwan on a saucer. The lid, with a fine relief pattern of thin notches and a small ring knob, has a warm reddish-brown shade. The body and saucer are dark, almost black.
